Millions of people around the world have been logging on to watch a £10,000 advert warning of the dangers of texting whilst driving.. Follow us on twitter at http://twitter.com/itn_news
These ads piss me off. Texting while driving is just common sense as is changing the radio station. If you cant do it without staring anywhere but the road for stupid amounts of time don't do it! I've been text driving for years in a safe and responsible way and shall continue to do so
I just want to say, about a year ago on our way back from school one day, it was a lady, texting on her cell phone that rammed the side of our bus at full speed. Thankfully we weren't hurt.
I hate these kind of shock-ad tactics on UK tv everywhere, sitting down watching TV with my family. 'ARE YOU AWARE OF GONNAREA? SEXUAL DISEASES' Next ad 'Mummy always tells me to put my seat belt on becuase you never know whats round the corner' - cut to a speeding articulated lorry heading for the car the 5 year's sat in, lovely image cheers. This extreme violence will just become the norm, desensitize us to it and not give a care. I don't give 2nd thought to things that use to make me squirm.
if i passed my test in a automatic with automatic steering and buttons for rain ,snow and stopping id be texting and playing on playstations while driving to ,i personally dont blame them its not there fault they have a false sense of control that makes them believe they can drive, this ad is a remminder but will be forgotten on the road i think as its to comfortable
