http://www.libertysafe.com - 1 of 6 Episodes - Guns and Gear TV tortures a Liberty Safe. Liberty puts $1,000 in the safe... if the guys can get this 1,000 lb safe open, they can keep the money! Can they pry it open?
What's up with the lock popping off so easily? I'd be pretty pissed off if someone broke in my house and there wasn't a way to open it back up. Not sure the digital entry system is the way to go, well, that's what it looks like this is fitted with. Correct me if I am wrong.
@raypalacios yeah and the sledgehammer keeps knocking the pry bars off. most burglars dont use sledgehammers because they just make it harder. they claim you cant get in, but if you look at their website its only UL RSC rated which means a pair of guys with a crowbar and an 18" prybar can get into it in under 5 min. even at the beginning the first pry opened it up alot.
@smokejumper0110 Looked like a total of five bundles of one hundred notes in each hand, so 10 bundles of 100 notes. So with those being 1 dollar bills, that'd make it 1000 - not trying to be patronising, though it does sound like that the way I just wrote that. You think each bundle had only 25 notes in each? They looked a little too thick for that.

So, those "burglars" work for Liberty??? If they opened it, they would probably be fired! Let some other safe manufacturers employees give it a try!

If those are just bundles of 1's, it is only $250. Not sure how you guys get $1,000, but I still want to get one of your safes.

How about you pour 100 litres of Liquid Nitrogen. That would do it.

it will open the safe if they keep on it with bigger tools (pry). I have done this before.
