Praise God!!!! This morning I get a txt from our music director at church and it says, "there's been a change in the schedule...i need you to learn God of this City for tmw morning...." I was thinking...crap, I've never played this song. This is by far, the BEST tutorial i've ever found! only thing that would be better is to have a live tutor. I don't read music well, but when I'm given the chords and told how to play the intro as you did, and give it to the Lord, it should all be fine tmw!

If I was playing this in the key of d, how might I change the verse/chorus to fit it?

If you wanted to play it in D, take all the chords I mentioned and make them one letter higher... C to D, G to A, Am to Bm, F to G, G/B to A/C#, and G/C to A/D.

I make these tutorials on a laptop with a 12" screen and it looks quite fine to me. I suspect your problem, friend, is this idea that somehow watching a 10 minute video is all you need to do to learn how to play like someone who has spent 12 yrs of his life learning this skill. And for this, I do take offense as it devalues hard work and commitment. I've said it over and over, you need the chords in my website, and you need to practice with the video over and over to learn how to play the songs.
