This filly is really something else. It's scary. She is being called the best filly since Ruffian, and by some, better than Ruffian.
But this video means a little bit more than what it seems to.
There are some lines in this song... "it's been so long..." and "putting out fire with gasoline"
Well, obviously it has been so long since we had a truly great horse. We've been waiting for a long time, as racing fans. the 'fire' represents great horses, and Rachel is now pouring gasoline and reviving the almost dying flame.
Oh yeah, I went all artsy like that.

Rachel fills the bill for a badly needed champion, "UNTIL" we get another triple crown winner..(don't hold your breath). However don't push the "Z" aside either.
She is just as good!!

she is great i love her, but no one can match ruffian, she was known as the queen of the fillies after her 1st race which was her maiden and she was named filly of the 20th century being the 1st filly or mare on the top 100 list....
i love RA though

I was there for the Woodword right at the finish line, and let me tell you it was the absalute most amazing thing I have ever seen. She is by far something else, I'm so glad I was able to see her in person=]

What the hell is with these music copyright notices? So annoying.
But anyways, Rachel Alexandra is the greatest filly I've ever seen, though I believe that she will never really be greater than Ruffian because of the legend that surrounds Ruff. However, RA is the greatest filly of the 21st century and one of the greatest in horse racing history, Without a doubt.

i think she is definalty the best filly since ruffian but i dont think she is better than her because you know... ruffians racing career was cut short :( and we never got to see how great she actually was.
anyways, i hope rachel meets up with zen someday!

If John Williams and Steven Spielberg are OK with your using their soundtracks in your video shorts, then I would think "WMG" (whoever they are) would be honored and count their blessings that their music is being promoted so artistically by you. Obviously, they don't get it. So why not select other music for Rachel - she deserves Bach or Beethoven or Brahms or maybe a choir of angels.
