Brain Tumor - On August 31, 2006, at 6:30 pm, tune in to watch a live Webcast from Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital about a procedure for removing a fourth ventricular brain tumor.
Dr. Alan R. Cohen, Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery, demonstrates the microsurgical resection of a fourth ventricular brain tumor in a 6-year-old girl. The procedure is carried out through a midline posterior fossa craniotomy with the patient under general endotracheal anesthesia in the prone position. Posterior fossa tumors are the most common brain tumors of childhood, and the extent of surgical resection correlates strongly with long-term survival.

  • La mia storia di operata in fossa cranica posteriore si è conclusa positivamente grazie al dottor Miran Skrap dell'ospedale Santa Maria della Misericordia di Udine.

    Neurochirurgo di eccezionale capacita' e professionalità, senza fronzoli va' subito al sodo risolvendo casi che per altri neurochirurghi risultano difficilmente operabili. Consiglio di rivolgersi ed affidarsi completamente a lui.

    Inoltre nel recinto ospedaliero c'e' un'associazione Onlus che può ospitare i parenti gratuitamente.
