This is a 1971 Camaro Z28 that I am selling. It has only 19,311 original miles. The miles are verified and true. The car has all original sheet metal with one full complete correct repaint in its correct colors. The car was taken all apart and fully stripped down to bar metal. I mean everything came off to paint the car correctly. The cost was around $15,000. The paint is 9.9 out of 10 with no issues. All the stainless steel bright work was taken off and fully polished, they look like they did in 71, all original GM pieces. Also when the car was put back together there was all NOS weather stripping used. It is NOS and not oem. The weather stripping was bought back in the mid 70's from GM and stored correctly and are in mint condition. Nothing fits like original GM parts. The bumpers are still the originals from 1971 and in very good condition with only very little signs of their age but still very clean and do NOT need to be changed. The underneath of the car is original and not touched from 1971. It was dealer undercoated and is very thin, you can remove the undercoating and see the very bright Red oxide primer beneath. The trunk is all original with the original splatter paint. You can see where it stops and the red oxide paint is everywhere else in the trunk. The original, like new, mat is still in the trunk as well.
The only aftermarket part in the interior is a new carpet and gas pedal the rest of the interior is all original GM and in PERFECT condition, with the only exception for the heater A/C controls and dash pad. They are original GM parts but since you could not order A/C until 1973 in a Z28 the 1st owner had factory A/C installed along with power door locks around 1975 and used all GM original pieces. The A/C system is 100% full working condition. The headliner, seatbelts, center console, steering wheel, gauges, radio, door panels are all original even the seats are still all original with original material and you can plainly see the unpainted rust free seat track. This interior is spotless.
The car still has the all 5 original wheels that still have all original paint on them from 1971 and Yes all 5 original Goodyear Polyglas tires from 1971. I have verified this and it is fact that the wheels and tires are untouched and the originals the car came with. They were taken off the car at 12,000 miles or so in 1972 and stored the proper way until they were put back on the car a couple years ago. The tires are crack and dry rot free with no flat spots. The spare tire was never mounted on the car. The original jack assembly with jack cover is still in the trunk and in very good condition. The car also has the original exhaust, there are Stainless steel tips on the car now but I have the original tips and they go with the car.
The engine compartment is very clean and original. The block is a warranty replacement block and is stamped as such. The heads, exhaust manifolds, intake, carb (which was fully rebuilt), distributor with cap (which was fully rebuilt), Starter (which was full rebuilt), smog system were fully redone and are all original to the car. The exhaust manifold on the passenger side has NOS stovepipe on it(GM # 338473 and 338471). The 2 pieces are NOS (still have the GM tags from them)and were installed after the manifolds were taken off cleaner and repainted. The car still retains its original M20 4 speed and bell housing. The car has all correct hoses, clamps, and date coded correct style plug wires and NOS plug wires. Even the power brake booster is the original from 1971. The rear is a 3:73 Posi rear which is the correct 10 bolt rear for the car.
It also has power steering, power disk brakes, rear defrost, am/fm stereo and power locks.
The car comes with the original Protecto-plate, owner's manual with clear plastic cover and original tire changing instructions and also 2 original cut keys with the cutouts still intact. The price is $38,500obo I might have interest in a trade possibly for 1967 Mustang GT/GTA fastback or convertible S code or possibly something else. If anyone has any questions please call me. I also have a link I can send with 340 full page pictures. Thanks, so much. Marty 570-875-7109

@MrSuperMikey I am asking $38,500 for the car. I might be interested in a 1967 Mustang fastback or convertible trade or cash and trade, just throwing it out there. Would really just like to sell outright though. If you have any questions please feel free to call 570-875-7109. Thanks, Marty
