Wow thanks for the intelligent reply. How about next time instead of telling me to suck a cow you engage in meaningful discourse. Why should the government divert huge amounts of resources to helping just minorities when most of the impoverished children in this nation are white? Nobody gives a fuck about them. And as someone who went through a "progressive" public school system I found the the obsession of closing the gap came at the price of advanced coursework, and thus, a good education.
