98 went down in flames!!! The voters of this State of California are too smart to fall for the scare tactics of the sleazy pro 98 crowd!

Most of the so-called "robber barons" were not market entrepreneurs, but political entrepreneurs who used the government to enact legislation to their benefit, much like Proposition 99.

So you think we should read a fictional novel by a socialist to learn history?

This animation doesn't present the facts. Instead, it uses stereotypes and emotion to mislead you. For the truth, see:mises[dot]org/story/2991

Prop 98 would be the most harmful to people in mobile home parks. They own their home, but rent the land. Sam Zell, owner of the LA Times, has tried twice to raise rents in Santa Rosa from $600 to over $1,800. In an apartment, if you don't like the rent, you move. You can not move the mobile home without great cost, and no place to put it.
Neither 98 or 99 is great, but for the sake of the elderly in mobile home parks I will VOTE NO ON 98.
YES ON 99

Be sure to make the rich guy bald, that makes him more evil. Everyone knows that. This video is oversiplified BS. Vote YES on 98 for real property rights reform or watch as our state uses the loopholes in 99 to unjustly take people's homes and business for private use. 98 is real reform. 99 does nothing at all.

I see what your saying but this doesn't REALLY explain anything about the details of the prop. In most legal documents, the details are what's important. The post below about too many renters rights makes a good point. I think both sides should be represented. It's good to point out the pros and cons of both sides. What rights are going to be taken away? What is the reasoning for this? What laws would be gained? Why? Without knowing all that this video doens't make much of a point.
