The Colorado Avalanche is full of extremely talented rookie and second year players who are hungry for success. Their drive and ambition are a big part of why this team has defied the odds to become a playoff contender in the Western Conference. They continue to silence critics and take advantage of opponents who underestimate them. This video is an introduction to these young players who have secured spots on the top lines of the Avs this season and beyond: Kyle Cumiskey, Matt Duchene, T.J. Galiardi, David Jones, Kyle Quincey, Ryan O'Reilly, Chris Stewart, Ryan Wilson and Brandon Yip. Their average age is 22.

Two or three years, just wait, this team will be the top of the NHL. Look at how well Chicago has done with their young talent after losing a playoff series. I can't imagine how solid we'll be next year.
