Kill or be replaced. After he betrays Mr.Wei,the ruthless crime boss who hired him to avenge his son's death, professional killer (Chow) goes on the run. Enlisting the aid of a beautiful blonde document forger Meg Coburn (Sorvino), Lee attempts to return to his family in China before they are victimized by his betrayal. But Wei's army of "Replacement Killers" is hot on his trail, and now he and Meg are targets of their impressive firepower. With both sides fully armed and determined to fight to the death,an ultra-violent shoot-out breaks out when they finally face off against each other.
It surprises me that even criminals have their own standards and rules, not wanting to kill people who have a family.

eh... this film was directed by Antoine Fuqua. The same guy who directed Training Day. How ignorant can you be? Obviously you didn't do "your" work before leaving a comment.

this is when john woo had became famous ofcourse he will take the easy route to money and the fame that he wasnt getting with his excellent movies in hong kong its just like when jackie chan comes to america. You stop wanting to break your back to impress people when you realize you dont have to, that americans will watch pure dog shit with will smith and call it a good film
