This is my jet video from the new and final patch 1.5 for Battlefield 2. Purpose of it is to demonstrate the balance between different jets in patch 1.5 and show how much the hit regocnition has improved.
Video contains a couple dozens of air-to-air kills by using machine guns, which are very powerfull due to the improved hitreg. I used missiles only twice, cos killing with the mgs was easy enough, and J10 got nerfed pretty badly. Most of the kills are pretty fast.
I was flying mostly F35b vs J10 or F35b vs Mig-29 (both ways). There are also few kill with bombers.
NOTE: Don't comment on things that has nothing to do with the new patch 1.5. If some player on video sucked in your opinion, leave your comments elsewhere. I won't be answering on questions how to mod your localization files either. Programs and music used can be found in the end of the video.

Just wondering, how do you maximize agility?
I mean i keep overshooting while you just seem to be able to snap back on target with your jet.

@welowrider32 I actually had very little experience in dogfighting when I made this video. I guess enemies just timed their turns very badly which got me back on their tracks. In public they either circle or make unnecessary moves all the time.
I didn't even use afterburners well in this video, correct usage helps catching up with the targets. Also making corrections by turning is good way to optimize your flying path.

@icantbealieve39 i was wondering how to use the throttle while dog fighting. do you go full throttle all the time? or do you throttle down sometimes?

@hostilebelligerent I got full throttle all the time, just like pretty much any dogfighter does.
Only exceptions are when trying to repair or when you are chasing someone how starts slowing down.

Impressive, very impressive. It's been over a year since I played BF2 but I was quite the pilot myself. This video has prompted me to reinstall and net me some gunkills.

@ColonelDrego Improved hitreg with jet machine guns really made the flying lot more interesting indeed. Hope you like the new 1.5 system.
