The Amish are the sweetest people. They even attended the killer's funeral. They are all about loving and forgiving. They find good in the worst situations. Amazing people.

the very few amish kids and adults i know, i viewed as racist and power hungry...mabye these ones were different, but for the most part i think the amish wish it was the olden days when the colored were theyre slaves. i hate to think it but some may mistake these amish as sophisticated power hungry nazis...schemeing their way through life, playing little mind games. has anyone ever seen a black, indian, or mexican amish person? i haven't. god says all are equal of sin, they aren't gods chosen...

Most amish families are allowed to keep a phone "shanty" at the furthest point of their property. I believe in this case the teacher escaped and ran to the nearest farm where the phone was.
