2009 v star 1300 with mods. Great winter project. One thing I did that's not on here b/c it wasn't set up yet is a custom key cover from starparts.org Awesome designs plus hides the key very well.

  • @2191104. I just went to the dealer and looked through all their parts catalogs until I found them. I believe it came from tucker rocky but I'm not sure.

  • nice job, so lets hear the horns now and how many decybel?

  • @teyacapan I'll get a video posted of the horn, I believe the decibel rating is around 125.

  • @christblackwell Thank you. I removed the backseat due to the fact the wife was pregnant and couldn't ride. I have the quick detach backrest so the mounts are still on the bike all it takes is 4 bolts and I'm ready for a passenger. You will love the bike, I sure do. Thanks for watching and keep the rubber on the road!

  • I have the same bike and can't find the chrome neck covers anywhere. Where did you find them at?

  • How do you like the Kuryakyn highway pegs attached to your floorboards instead of using a highway bar...how tall are you? I'm 5'9-5'10 would that be the right foot placement?

  • @73FIREful I use the jack stand for simple maintenance and plus when I added the luggage rack I had to jack it up to get under the rear fender. It all depends on where it's stored and how often you move it while it's stored. Mine is in the garage and I moved it a lot trying to get things that I needed. So it never sat on the jack long enough for storage.

  • thank you sir i'll be waiting for the vid

  • @73FIREful They are the Yamaha bags. I had the throw over soft bags but there just wasn't enough room for anything. No issues at all with these bags. It depends on the style your looking for and the price range your willing to go.
