Julianne Rowat back with Part 3 of low cost & Free advetising, this is on Press Releases. Press releases are different than articles. Where as an article shares opinions or information. A press release announces a specific event and they let you put your business in the content. Press Releases are key-word driven, which means if someone is searching for something on Google and your press release has the keyword that their searching for in it, it will pop up. So make sure you use your keyword in the title and at least 3 times in the body. You want it to be at least 400 words or less. Make sure it's exactly how you want it, because its hard to edit once submitted. Don't make it sound like an advertisment or it will be rejected. Some let you put videos on, which google really likes. Couple of sites I use are: Webwire.com and free-press-release.com Webwire is really easy to use and they have lots of suggestions and tips for you. Make sure your content, including your head line is less than 400 words or they will charge you. Free press release is straight forward and easy to understand and submit to. Most of all remember to have a complelling headline and that it's newsworthy.
