some years ago i saw a card like that. i can't remember name or manufacturer, but i remember how it looked like it was inside a silver shell like heat sink with two fan holes on it there was no stats about the card only its price. it was around 2,5 thousand dollars (or around 2,3 thousand euros). anyway, this card seems to be doing well with fsx.

It's more about how many polygons and points you can throw at the card and expect it to work, a Quadro will go all day while a Gforce won't. The Geforce is designed to render and show the final 3D product, while a Quadro is about creating the 3D object.
