So sad to hear he's gone. Had to pleasure to play bass for him when he stopped in a bar I was playing at on his way back from Vegas. He jammed with our band and the man could really play. He didn't tell anyone who he was, but by the end of the night I figued it out! He could rip on blues, he nailed CCR licks, Dan could play most any style of music. Too bad they never really let him show off on the TV program. Hope he's trading licks with Hendricks right now, may he RIP, from Dave Spinka

@vinegaroon1 Oh, Danny is so NOT wearing a wig! I've always been jealous of his hair. With the different outfits: different people, so different outfits.

From here in England .... thank you so much for putting all this amazing stuff on You tube. I loved all those guys. Teriffic talent. They must have really enjoyed themselves making those T.V. shows. Wish I could have been there. I will just bop away at home now. Johnny Contardo's don't come around often. Rock on everyone ......

i had the pleasue of being pen pals with Danny McBried back in2003-2004 still have what he gave me. i really do miss him and know he and Chico as well are both angels in Heaven and will look forward to giving them both a big smile and hug when i also get there

Love his voice. He is AWESOME whenever he sings and WHATever he sings ☺ He has a solo album at amazon I just bought.
