"Lies" was the biggest hit for this group, big enough to get them an LP. This is an amazing LP where some tracks sound like The Beatles and then some like The Righteous Brothers. "Please Don't Fight It" is a great track, enjoy!
the Knickerbockers were a great band...They actaully did most of the playing in the studio for the songs done by most everyone on WHERE THE ACTION IS. And they could SOUND like anyone! Notice, how much the drummer, (on the album mentioned) can mimic Tom Jones! Quite a stretch, there!...Bad management, and their career didn't flourish...

Jimmy Walker has a great new album called "PLAYING TO WIN" available for downloads on CD BABY. Soon on iTunes, Amazon etc. too.

The drummer Jimmy Walker sings on that track. Check out his brand new profile on the space for friends website (can't mention the name).
Pics, videos and great songs.
There's also a page about the time when he was in the Righteous Brothers with Bobby Hatfield.

"Please Don't Fight It" was a modest hit for the trio Dino, Desi & Billy in 1966. Good cover here by these Jersey boys, the Knickerbockers.
