@jonlewisprovence Thanks for your reply Jon. I didnt realise who you were aiming the video at. For elementary students this is very good. And don't get me wrong, it is great to introduce it to someone who never heard of it before. All I was saying was if you want to know more, just go out and get the books. I love mind mapping. It is very helpful. I find mind maps also help my creative writing. Thanks again.
Hi everyone, just go out and get the book. This video is much too basic. The whole idea of mind-mapping is to allow you the freedom to explore your thoughts and feelings and come up with lots of new ideas. When you let go and just do it, you will be very suprised with what you have just done. The mind maps drawn in this video are very good and clear, its just that you need to learn more about it.

@TrueRoo Thanks for your comment. Just to let you know that this video was made for elementary English students, showing them a useful technique to collect and memorise new vocabulary. That's why it is very basic. Although I'm a keen mindmapper and actually work for Buzan's company from time to time, my work is language teaching, so this video must be seen in context. By the way, Buzan's first book, 'the mind map book' is by far the best - although there is plenty of info on the net for free

The information in this video was a bit meagre.

You're right, I don't go into much depth. I made the vid for French speakers (I live in France) who are learning English, and was intended as a vocabulary exercise, not brainstorming or creativity.

Nice... just wondering where you got that sw from ?
I like that little challenge at the end too... Reminds me of my teacher who loves the concept of mind mapping...

The software is Buzan's imindmap, which I got for free because I worked on his Language Revolution project.
You can download it on trial at the imindmap site.
