yo mik, yep its me "cuckoo bird". i know you are reading this so this is for you......i am honored and proud as hell to have trained with you and be a part of blackfeather and hold the title of "kru" from your teachings. you taught me many things both in the ring and out and i take them everywhere with me. parts of you have rubbed off on me and will stay with me forever. thanks to you, everytime i hang up the phone with someone instead of saying bye i say "peace". that comes from you. i have often found myself in stuations and thought to myself W.W.M.D.? remember the time you called me up and told me how proud you are of all that i have accomplished since we first met? you said to me that you looked at me as if i were one of your kids. well i have always looked at you as a father figure , a best friend and a MOTHERFUCKIN SUPERHERO. all bullshit to the side, YOU WERE ALWAYS MY SUPERHERO AND I LOVE YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEART. your spirit and personality is the most infectious forum of energy i have ever felt. you are one in a million, there will never be another, ever, period. you have abilities that no one else has. you could always take a situation and break it down on a street level and put it into words so that it was easily undrestood, not to mention funny as hell. i love that about you. i am going to miss your laugh and your sexy ass voice. i am going to miss busting your balls by calling you rick james, busta rhymes, vernon reid, jimmi hendrix and that dude from kings X. i always used to bust on you and call you the EX-CHAMP and you would laught your ass off. well let it be known that you are a champion and a TRUE REAL LIFE OG and you are on the level. you are the bruce lee of detroit, the john scofield of the motor city. dam i am going to miss you forever, my soul has poured out of my eyes and i know you feel the pain too. it looks like i wont get the chance to finally knock that dam fake diamond out of your front tooth and hock it like i always told you i was going to do. i clearly remember the last time i said goodbye to you. we were standing on your front porch and we gave each other a big long hug and you told me you loved me and i told you that i loved you too. at the time i did not know that would be our last embrace but i knew that you knew that i love you...........

Sonja, your brother touched more people than you know.

I am privileged to have met Mikhal, through his art, through his philosophy, through his love of life, people and music. When I lost my brother, 2 years ago this month, Mikhal was there for me. A true champion, in the ring of life.

God has a funny sense of humor, cause he takes the best for himself.
