hey. i have an 04 gts looking into getting a short throw. besides megan does anyone know any other options out there? oh and btw the stock 3g throw is pretty short! i drove my buddys wrk the bug eye. and not only does his sit higher. but is a longer throw by far. just throwing that out there. but yea if anyone has any other options that would be great. ive done some research and i only find megan or some ebay ones. thanks.

I do believe B&M makes a short throw shifter kit for the 3g but at a hell of alot more cost. For the money you're looking at spending on other brands you're not getting near the deal for the money you're going to pay. Megan is the best short shifter for this car for the little amount of money that you're going to pay for it.

The throws in this car aren't short. Not stock, and not now.

Sure they aren't maybe compared to a sportscar that costs more. But the throws in the 3g are pretty damn short for being stock, I mean you can shift without moving your entire arm you just flick your wrist. If you ask me it's short. Not to say there aren't cars that are shorter and have better short shifters, but It is pretty short. And since they are short stock there's not much you can do to reduce the distance of the throw.

And the other thing is a short shifter is good for more than just reducing the distance of the throws, it makes it more precise as well. I don't care if you don't think it's as short as some cars, it's for other people who own 3g eclipses and are interested in short shifters it's just showing one of the options they can go with and what they can expect from it. That's all, calm down.

i have a 91 sentra do you know if it will reduce the height as well as the throw

Most aftermarket short shifters reduce the height as well as the throws in any car. But if it doesn't reduce the height as much as you want, you can always do things the easy way and take a hacksaw to it to shorten the height. But it also depends on which brand you get depends on the quality and the reduction of both throws and height.
