Only You - Yaz - Cover

Cover of Only You by Yaz (aka Yazoo), one of my favourite songs from the 1980s. Original is written by Vince Clarke, and sung by Alison Moyet.

For this version, everything was done using the onboard sequencer on a Korg TR. I recorded the tracks separately, and used a couple of the out-of-the-box, preprogrammed drum tracks I thought sounded kinda cool. I kind of screwed up the bridge a bit on timing -- but considering I was using headphones, and had them pressed up against the camera's mic and therefore could barely hear the sound, it's not too bad. :) Hope to post more soon.

The keyboards in the shot, for those interested, are a Korg TR, a Korg M1 and a Kurzweil K2000.
