@efransophoto I just saw that it should be "screen" and not "overlay". I corrected that, but the problem still occurs with the levels adjustment. I add noise, blur more, adjust levels, and once I hit OK, it acts as if I hit cancel. So I still need a hand with what I'm doing wrong with the levels adjustment. Thanks
After adding noise, blur more, then adjusting levels, everything looks good until I click OK. It goes back to how it was before the levels adjustment (with noise everywhere). I tried doing the levels adjustments 2 or 3 times and it was a little better, but then, when switching to overlay, the image is turned really dark.
I went back a few times to make sure I was following the steps properly. What am I doing wrong? Or what setting is there that needs to be adjusted or reset?
Nice tutorial! Comes in handy around this time in Vietnam :-) Many thanks for your efforts!
What would be the way to apply this technique if the image is high-res, say 21Mpixel? In this case, the noise is way too small, and the result will be very different. Thanks again!
Awesome, thanks!

This is great but it would have looked more realistic if you desaturate the greens and yellows
