thats actually really helpful not only for voice over but for stage acting as well, becuase you always have to think about what you say before you say it and how you want to affect the listener.

Thank you Greensican: what you say is absolutely true. I am amazed at how often I hear horribly read narrations on million-dollar television commercials. What Tony said about narration and about the narrator is as true today as ever and still not being practiced by most directors. They just do not understand how to tell the voiceover speak to a viewer on a YouTube video for example.
