The #2 seed Houston Texans traveled to #1 seeded San Diego for the right to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. In the regular season , Houston won 27-20. Houston had also beaten San Diego 2 years before to reach their first Super Bowl , 17-10. The Chargers , however , blew out the Texans last season , and looked for a repeat of the blowout today.
For a while , it looked as if that might happen , as the Chargers dominated the 2nd and 3rd quarters , at one point seizing a 35 - 23 lead. The Texans would rally off Charger turnovers and pull off a comeback in the 4th to reach their second Super Bowl.
Significant players on Houston include QB Adrian McPherson , HB's Cedric Benson and Jamal Lewis , WR's Jabar Gaffney and Andre Johnson , TE's Boo Williams and Owen Daniels. The defense has CB's Devin Hester , Antrel Rolle , Phillip Buchanon , and LB's LaVar Arrington and Roosevelt Colvin. The rest of the defense is mostly computer generated players and rookies (i.e. "Elliot")

For all of you people slamming Houston (I'm a Bears fan btw) didn't they just get their first winning season this past year? It's only a matter of time until they really do make it this far. Besides, who here honestly thought we would see the Cardinals in the Super Bowl? Yeah, that's what I thought.
