A preview of Expedition Earth's first project: CHARGE Across Europe. Ruan (South African) and Tina (Swiss/Hungarian) are walking 8000km across the European continent with their dogs Akela and Gulliver, to create awareness for the unknown but often occuring CHARGE Syndrome. They will reach their destination, Cape Tenaro (Greece), in June 2010 after which they will do another walk from Switzerland's southernmost to northernmost point. Their first books are expected to be released in Autumn 2011 which will tell the complete story of this unusual adventure. A children's book about the adventure of a dog on a very long walk will aslo be released at the same time. In winter 2011 they will present their "Road Show", taking them on an extensive tour through Europe as well as retracing their route from Greece ton Norway.
