Join VOX in the studio with The Boxmasters, and listen to what they have to say about their VOX amps. This video features drummer/vocalist Bud Thornton, along with guitarists JD Andrew and Mike Butler. Each offers their appreciation for the amps that capture the sound and spirit of a cherished time in music, one that The Boxmasters are keeping alive. Thanks, guys!

  • Wow, how unique! They use Vox amps and sound like a 60's band! Why haven't more people tried this?

They all dress like Vox amps, look like perfect little Vox action figures. That's why they are endorsed by Vox.

Oh, and Billy Bob is a movie star, so that helps....

  • Why is the drummer in every shot, if they're talking about guitar amps?

  • These guys give me the creeps. The bit at the end where BB asks "replaceable guitarist A" to read out the name of their website... painful.

  • @RHMETAL Your explanation certainly applies to ordinary musicians, but I guarantee that BB doesn't take a dump without being paid to do it. That's why he's so full of the stuff!

  • @RHMETAL Who cares about the interview agreement? I'm sure all celebrities have to face similar situations; it's part of the territory. But there are good and bad ways of handling these situations, and this was NOT a good way! This is a "man" who's too used to getting his own way". He seems like a sphincter.

  • @Rondoggy67 Another thing is, he's not necessarily making money off of this. When you sign an endorsment deal, it doesn't always guarantee money. In a lot of cases, they supply equipment of their brand to the artist, but it requires a certain amount of exclusivity. In other words, when they sign the deal, they can only play Vox amps, for instance. Also, the deal might require an advertisment video for the company. So, he's not necessarily making any money from it. Might be, but maybe not.

  • @Rondoggy67 Well that's not entirely true. The reason there was a conflict with that particular interview was because, as many artists do, there was a list of things that you can't talk about if you want to interview Billy Bob. You have to agree to that before you get the interview. Simple. So when they said "WE AGREE!" then went against the terms, that's kind of a smack in the face, especially since he got up early in the morning for them.

  • @Rondoggy67 AWWWWWWWWWW As you people say dont hate

  • Man they suck

  • Stop talking about how you sound like the Beatles asshole!!!! And your name is Billy Bob not BUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for christ sake these guys annoy me!.. does he think by changing his name to "BUD" that people will take his shit band more seriously?? I mean be honest with yourself asshole... the boxmasters=shit

  • Billy Bob your a combination of asshole/poser/douchbag, only thing he ever done good was Angelina jolie..........YOU ARE NOT a hillbilly your a dickhead... stop TALKING nobody gives a shit about where your lameass sound comes from!!! only reason anybody talks to this band AT ALL is because this dick did some movies thats the ONLY reason period.. their music is completely irrelevant in everyway... but to be fair the rest of the band is just as big of assholes as he is.. ive seen em in concert BOO
