Introduction to Beryl

All of the beryl videos I've seen kind of suck. I'm considering making a series that shows the different features in beryl and how they can be useful to people.

This in lieu of just like, playing some loud music and spinning the desktop cube superfast and bragging that my gfx card draws everything at 2000fps.

Let me know what you think.

How to install it all depends on what operating system you are using. In a lot of newer distributions it's install automatically.

This video is also somewhat deprecated, as beryl has now been merged back into compiz, the resultant product being named "compiz-fusion"

How do you get this program step by step ive been trying and trying to get this program and im in love with linux but im also a complete noob with it. you seem to know what your doing so can you help me. Message me your answer/help

It's installed by default in the latest versions of Ubuntu Linux. The product is now called "compiz-fusion".

Vista is the devil. Get rid of it as soon as possible.

iTunes will run under WINE, a compatibility layer that takes Win32 API calls and maps them to their Unix equivalents. WINE will let you run A LOT of native Win32 software on Unix / Linux, oftentimes faster than it runs natively on windows!

Even with WINE though, it's often better to use a native Linux program where possible. Don't think "I need this program", think "Is there a Linux program that(continued)

"performs this function". There are ways to sync your iPod without iTunes, however you can run iTunes with WINE if you so desire.

i need help i see all these cool vids about beryl but never got the chance to install a version but as soon as i tried to install it there was no setup or exe to be found i need to know if it is possible to install it on debian?
