Was waiting in line to get loaded when a Laker Ship started to unload so I filmed some of it.

  • Ya, got ya...forgot they have that big conveyor system. Great vid. Miss Sarnia....moved from there to St John's 4 yrs ago.

  • wow....i never knew that stone came on a ship. where does the load come from?

  • I asked the scale operator today where they get there stone from. It comes from a corey up in Northern Michigan.

  • @Newfieguy89 Probably the roger city area roger city has like the largest limestone quarry in the world.

  • Ha. i gete stone from the other side of the river in Marysville just a little down stream. I know most of the stone comes from Roger City Michigan, Its called Port Calcite. look it up on google earth that mine is fliggin huge.

  • Boat is Algoway, Algoma Central double ender self unloader. We see her pretty often, works mainly in the stone trade. Several quarries around Lake Huron, and at Marblehead + Kelley's Island on Lake Erie.
