  • tri+katamaran = trimaran (3 hull)

  • Nachyan Warudo...

  • this is designed to sweep and collect iran flying boats in the front.

  • @imicusdown fair call. I actually worked as an electrician on this ship when it was built, the shipyard is in my hometown of Hobart, Tasmania. I had no idea about the inner workings of something like this until I got to wire the engine rooms, jet rooms, t-foil, etc. Really interesting stuff. This thing got wound up to 40 knots during sea trials and didn't even work up a sweat. US military had one built at the same yard a few years back, have a search online for HSV-X1 Joint Venture.

  • @frontlinechoir

No. don't get me wrong, but most of the ships here are yachts, very fast speedboats, and, at times, naval vessels docking and being launched to sea.

  • @imicusdown You've never seen a catamaran?

  • @manx77

    ...What is wrong with you?

I live in the US, and here we have some of the most technically advanced ships on the planet.

I see ships outside of my house every goddamn day, but I've never seen a twin-hulled ship.

  • @imicusdown ferry?

  • That is a high-speed ferry with wave-piercing foils. Clearly, this Chinese ferry is more advanced than what the 2 previous commenters have ever experienced. Pathetic morons.

  • @imicusdown Yo mama's dildo! D:<
