  • @kisakk Nottoworry. This is but a very small part of the entire movie. Big for the two indviduals here - but there is so much more to this documentary.

    Well worth purchasing.

  • @ndgreenaway obviously not silly enough for the astronauts to openly speak about it. I think it is interesting they all shared somewhat of a common outlook on the subject after their experiences.

  • I was thinking about getting this for me and one for my brother, but all this god-talk turned me off it. I might rent it, still.

  • I sort of understand what Gene Cernan was saying about the Spiritual sense, and ourselves creating our religions, but i think i would have to see what he saw, the whole Earth in the infinity of space, the mother of us all, small enough to put behind your thumb to understand exactly what he means.

  • Edgar Mitchell: "And suddenly I realized that the molecules of my body, and the molecules of the spacecraft, the molecules in the body of my partners, were prototyped, manufactured in some ancient generation of stars. And that was an overwhelming sense of oneness, of connectedness; it wasn't 'Them and Us', it was 'That's me!'"

  • I can't share these guys' attitudes, but I love that part where whowasit talks about feeling that his body and their vessel were prototyped as one in the stars or something. I thought it was in this part...

  • @ndgreenaway well when was religion ever part of it? He said on a spiritual level not religious (if you are referring to the video of course)

  • Spiritual comments Im ok with - but we wont get one foot on mars until we can finally wash ourselves of religious differences.

  • wish religion was kept out of this, it's just devisive and silly

  • Gene is cool, my favorite Navy astronaut
