Hi, I'm a Chinese from Hong Kong, and now I in US for college.
the reason why Mainland Chinese illegally immigrate to JP is complicated, from what I know, the most important reasons are these:
1.The Tiananmen incident in 1989.
2.In 90s many people realized the gaps of development between China and western world like JP or Hong Kong.
3. North East China has been colonized by JP from 1931-1945, there are many JP orphans.
PS. Don't blame them, they just wanna a better life.

I don't know all of the history between China & Japan but I read about the Rape of Nanking and I talked about it with my sister's boyfriend (he is Japanese) and he is ashamed of it. Every country has done something horrible at one point or another...and some have done more things than others, but over all we should just look to the future instead of looking back. I'm Armenian & Turkey tried to exterminate all Armenians 100 years ago but I do not hate Turkish people. Too much hate in the world.
