With the plan in Japan (see what I did there?) to be more conservative and relaxed semi-backfiring, I kept a 5th place from the start due to a cautious inside line on Turn 1, a late retirement by my team mate Button promoted me to a 4th place finish. Losing the points that Button had in the bag for the constructors was a real blow, it meant we'd have to work even harder in Korea...
A super fast, tight, winding track that holds no real shocks or scares, Korea is a nice treat near the end of the Championship before the threatening Brazil and playground Abu Dhabi. I was very much looking forward to a great race, minus any incidents....
