Journalist Roxana Saberi, who was imprisoned in Iran on espionage charges, offers advice to American journalists working overseas. The video was originally screened at the "Journalists in Jeopardy" plenary on Aug. 13 at the Asian American Journalists Association's National Convention in Boston.

  • This is so much better than the Ling sisters AAJA conference video! Thank you Roxana Saberi for giving detailed responses to the 2 questions AAJA requested you to answer. Your advice to journalists who want to work abroad is very helpful. I especially like the daily phone call and "I have a stomach ache" code phrase suggestion.
