There is so much to say about this video that whenever I sit down to write about it, I literally don't know where to start.
The most important and profound thing about this story is the horrible fact that this video was a cry for help and a prophesy that was fulfilled almost 5 years later. How it is that I helped Alex with this project, worked with her, listened to her and still that that awful day come and just let it all happen... well it's beyond me. I hate this video in so many ways and yet I believe it can tell a story and maybe in some ironic way offer hope to those that feel hopeless as Alex did.
The message here is clear. Talk with your teens about this epidemic. Discuss their lives with them and get involved. Don't let a day go by . Don't put off this conversation. Do it now.
