  • That's terrific. I have found that improvisation is a very personal thing. There really isn't any such thing as screwing up in music, just playing notes that you don't want. Remember you are only a half step away from a "right" note at any time.

    Once, the great saxophonist and master improviser James Moody told me that he would rather hear someone in a practice room screwing up and making terrible mistakes than hear someone playing perfectly while practicing.

  • Nice job I'm just learning to do improv I'm pretty good as in not screwing up but I'm tryin to be able to play really fast and make itnot seem like random notes
