Does anybody know what the R68 windows are made of? I think all subway windows are polycarbonate nowadays, but I've been wondering what they were like in the 70s and 80s

sounds like a pretty bad beatin the r68 was taking at 3:50
it sounds like a horrible freight train on a curve but the pitch is lower and its a bit more "romantic" on it. #LOL

I don't know which curve is sharper, the one here, the one north of Nereid Av station, or the one that the 5 takes between 138th and 149th Grand Concourse.
