BTW, 2Suns, to delete the background music from the original footage, use Adobe Audition.

thanks for the tip i will definitely look into adobe audition. Does it let me isolate just the dialogue and remove the background music. if so, that would be amazing

@Malumbrus editing is a hobby of mine. i can easily say people who read, play video games, fish, etc have too much time on their hands. i'm not sure i understand why doing something i like is having too much time on my hands.
