guide.ant - gps navigation prototype @ Android

This is a short demo of my bachelor thesis project "guide.ant".

Topic of the thesis:
"guide.ant - Design and implementation of a GPS navigation prototype on the Android platform."
I know, the app needs to get some visual sweets ;-) but the main task was to create a reasonable backend base - and thats the result :-)

The resulting major sub-project of this thesis is a new MapView-component for Android, which allows you to display area limited custom maps, e.g. fairgrounds or theme park areas, or whatever you want, including location based capabilities, in your Android application.
