On August 2nd, Colectivo No Violencia organized a festival against "panfletos" in the district of Aguablanca, one of the most marginalized areas of Cali. Panfletos are flyers that armed groups have been posting all around the country threatening to kill all sorts of groups including indigenous people, prostitutes, gays - and these postings have been followed by actual murders. At 9am, youth groups marched from their neighborhoods in Aguablanca to a central meeting point where they found games, awareness raising activites such as face paintings and hopscotch for peace. During the afternoon, youth groups from the neighborhoods performed music and dance, showing that violence is not the answer.
