@eagle790 AGREED!!!! PUR is a crappy company!

Check out my vids on the newest filters. Also FLAWED DESIGNS! I think that there are MANY bad filters, but most people are too lazy or apathetic to post complaints or videos.

Mine has the same problem and is under the factory warrenty. I plan to call Pur Leaks Inc and see what they will do. This is an obivious design flaw.

Mine leaks like this too how di I fix THIS!

I have had two PUR filters and had similar issues. Neither lasted more than 12 months. Looking for a different brand now. Any suggestions?

I have two the new one is to difficult for my kids to operate, the old one had a cack in the neck and leaked like that video clip, I took a round plastic Bic Pen wrapped it with some Scotch Tape for snug fit pushed it down the neck and sliced it of with an exacto knife. kind of like putting a new cylinder sleeve in a motor cycle. Problem solved.

@TheMichelenaR Wow. As a motorcycle owner, I can relate. ;) Sounds like a great fix.
I no longer have one of these, but it is interesting to me how every few months someone will comment on this video. With >10k views, it is by far the most watch of all my uploads.

@fvfdfirefighter Right, I understand what you mean now. Did that I think - that worked for you? Nothing I tried worked. If I still had it, I'd try again.
