You mean mid 80's

Phineas and Ferb and Fish Hooks are family programming, as is Good Luck Charlie (at least that's what Disney says). All Disney shows are rated TV-G, save for My Babysitter's A Vampire (which is TV-PG), and all Disney Junior shows are rated TV-Y.

by the way, it has the annoucer saying "The Disney Channel" at the end.

@dudeitsjoe I'm only willing to concede that the live-action stuff, and MAYBE the little kids shows are crap, but that's it.
-
@Kirbyfan87827 But..all of it is crap.
-
The good ole' days. I wish the Disney Channel was still like this. They need to bring back all their old stuff and do away with all the new crap that's on it today.

but there's no CARTOONSnow! no IMAGINATION! it's just "hey who can look like hanna montanna?" for pete's sake, they're selling her WIG in stores!!! where are the super heroes? the monsters? the adventures? replaced by forcing children to grow up and face really too fast, conditioning them to think that the only way to succeed is to buy what's already out there, instead of being an individual.

You are right and you are wrong. What was different about Disney Channel then was that they aired all of the classics, many of which were around way before any of us were born. Second, was that these people had class and they actually gave a damn on what was put on the air.
I despise this decade with a passion, there is no innocence left in our country and many old classics are largely left forgotten. At least with Aladdin and the Lion King, I appreciated the hard work Disney put into them.
