Any song as an Alarm Ipod touch 1st and 2nd gen

A tutorial on how to set any song as an alarm on ipod touch 1st or 2nd gen and the iphone note they must be jailbroken.

make sure to rename the M4A file to M4R

put the .m4r file into private/var/stash/Ringtones.75rxsp on the root of your ipod touch.

man, I dont want to bother, but please can you upload a video about how to ssh into the ipod touch 2G, the other videos about ssh on youtube are really incomprehensible....not as clear as your tutorials...and I really want to get my ipod to work with custom alarm sounds..- you would help us all....

Easy way: download Playawake from Cydia. Just install it and you will be able to select a wake up song from the standard clock app. Add the xsellize repo (google it) and then search for playawake!
