We have a few ponds on our property and one of them is compeletely covered in algae/pond scum. Took our Pug "pugsley" with our other farm dog out on a hike one summer day... While we hiked past the scummed over pong, our pug ran out onto the surface thinking green ment solid grass... He plunged in and couldn't swim well enough.
I had to wade in and get him. =[ He was ok though shaken and totally green.

um... i do have a pug, and sorry bout what i said, i was pretty pissed. i love pugs. i have 3 of them and have had around 6 litters so far, so yea.

No not all dogs can swim and that person is right pugs are verry lopsided. Heavier up front and with the short noses have a hard time keeping the water out. That is prety rare for a pug. Cool stuff.
