  • @aeropueroto I'm sorry, I did not mean to be insensitive. No, physicians do not think people are stupid.

  • @MrCreightonian Are you kidding me, man? Have you ever been sick? Have you ever been operated on? When you suffer these symptoms you sure as hell want to know why Is this happening. Doctors think people are stupid and they are so smart and don't have the time to explain us sick dummies right?

  • @aeropueroto Would you honestly want your physician to explain how hypoalbuminemia or a pH disturbance affects your serum calcium levels? 1) You wouldn't understand 2) They don't have the time.

  • Thank you for this explanation, I have Hypocalcemia and doctors never explain this.

  • dr paul. you are beyond amazing. i am a family medicine resident and your video lectures have helped me much!!! :) please continue posting more lecture vids!

  • @gatayrafa wow, can you describe it in detail for me on your experience? I'm a nurse and I want to be an instructor one day. And I love patient's stories because it brings life into the boring lectures. So I'm saving everyone's stories on different situation. If you are okay with it :)

  • this happened to me! I felt week and took my blood pressure at a machine in a drug store. I flipped out and drove myself to the ER. It saved my life. The dr knew right away what I explained with my hand . I was treated with ivs. one thing...Trausseau's more bout calcium, but if it comes to pottasium oral is better!! I.V. Potassium burns like battery acid!!!!!!!!
