The current leader of the European Union, French President Nicholas Sarkozy says Zimbabwe's president "must go." The French leader is adding his voice to other European, African and American officials who have called for President Robert Mugabe to step down amid a worsening cholera epidemic. The country's humanitarian and political crises have deepened since Mr. Mugabe won a June run off election that was boycotted. State-run media in Zimbabwe have accused Western powers of using the health crisis to rally opposition to Mr. Mugabe. VOA's Chris Simkins has more on the story.
