Slow broadband speeds in the UK are holding back the development of 'cloud computing', according to an expert.
Speaking at the Westminster eForum on the future of British computing, consultant Matt Yardley announced that it will be at least a decade before businesses across the country can access the download and upload speeds they require.
'Cloud computing' is the provision of different internet tools as one combined package.
Meanwhile the government has said that developing faster and more reliable internet speeds is one of its top priorities.
