1987 - Evil Monk

Yet another video I directed that was just an attempt to try out more filming tricks. This time I wanted to make a video that went along with a soundtrack. Nowadays this is VERY easy. However, back then, just using a VHS tape - and having to record from tape to tape, and also try and film exactly what you thought would match up to the particular music - was challenging. In fact, it didn't even work. I was WAY off on my timing. However, in an odd way, it does kind of match the music. Ha.

Um, let's see, this video involves one monk sneaking off during prayer and stealing some important figurine. The good monk realizes what has happened and begins a pursuit. All of this involved candles, curtains, dish towels, and no real script. But I sure had fun "directing" it. I'm fairly certain Becky Lee filmed this one too - though I could be wrong.
