I just think it's disgusting that they have to issue ppl IOU's instead, cause the bankrupt state of California can't afford to pay it's citizens what they owe them. And yea, ppl should now pay their taxes with IOU's instead... why not do the same back?!

We are to blame because we know that whoever is in the throne to be admired and idolized would do what he pleased if the people didn't check him out every now and then. If people don't go out into the streets, prostest, votes are meaningless. The only reason why they would do something is because people show their numbers in frustration, not because that is part of their plan. Texas and Alaska are asking to secede which is good. Smaller country=better organization, less thieves, less hastle.

Nope. Politicians could care less. They make more than you, your friends and familiy combined. Have you ever asked yourself what are politicians, lobbyists, bosses, corporate executives, corporate presidents for?? Nothing. They don't have skills like the workers or accountants. They have the skills to dictate or steal money from everyone else's hard work that's 100% true. There is no need for Washington DC, a white house or a president of 50 states.
