Wow your dog is very nicely trained! If i was cooking with my puppy next to me she would probaly want to eat the food lol so If I was using the fry pan she would put her nose there to get the food but then burn it xD
Many fine meals now served in Japanese restaurants and at home actually have their origin in other countries. The cooking methods are basically the same, although many of the dishes have been changed somewhat to make them go well with rice => Kare-raisu, Tonkatsu, Omu-raisu, Tempura, etc... Hamburg steak is part of this Western Cuisine called "Yoshoku" in Japan.
You make it kind of like Tuna cakes, when you add the egg to it. Somehow I like it when adding the egg. It gives it more mass along wit hthe other ingredients. And when you cooked the onions, my mouth watered. I love onions. O.O;;
