The Thing That Should Not Be by Metallica(rhythm cover) as played by me. This song is single handedly the heaviest song ever written. And as Jason Newstead says in 1983 at their concert in Seattle "Are you ready for the heaviest mother fucker thats ever been written? (crowd screams) Then get ready for..The Thing..That Should Not Be!" And it has occured to me time and time again, that the heavier songs are the ones that are slow. You don't always have to be the fastest to be the heaviest. Take songs like Iron Man by Black Sabbath and Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth, both very heavy but also slow..well until the solos but that's not my point.
